Rainharvesting Systems Ltd of Stroud in Gloucestershire have secured a
contract to supply their Multimat system for a housing development in Runcorn.

The project is being carried out by G J Seddon on behalf of the Riverside Group,
and they have chosen the Multimat system to be installed in 43 of the 68 homes
that make up the development.

The system uses a unique tank and filter combination from German
rainwater experts Wisy AG and is highly regarded for its quality and reliability.
Its 'plug and play' design makes for ease of installation, thereby saving time on site.
The inclusion of the rainwater harvesting will not only reduce the tenants' water bills,
but will also havea significant impact on reducing the stormwater runoff from the site.

Rainwater harvesting is increasingly being seen as a useful tool in flood
alleviation for new housing and commercial developments
